Prominent landmark of Pampanga. Mount Arayat stands the only elevated terrain of the province. There are lots of folk stories referring to the legendary mountain god of Arayat. Apu Sinukwan as they call him, the province's festival owes his name as titular "Sinukwan Festival". I wonder why the festival was held yearly at the City of San Fernando not on the foot of the mountain (after its titular).
